Ingredients
1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix (Devil’s Food or regular chocolate)
1 cup creamy peanut butter (melted for easy spreading)
1 cup milk (whole or 2% for richness)
1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped (Reese’s or store-brand)
Optional: Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. - Layer the Cake Mix
Dump the dry cake mix evenly into the baking dish. Do NOT mix yet! - Add the Peanut Butter & Milk
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the peanut butter (about 30 seconds).
Drizzle the melted peanut butter evenly over the cake mix.
Slowly pour the milk over the top, covering as much surface area as possible. - Sprinkle the Chocolate Goodness
Scatter the chocolate chips and chopped peanut butter cups over the top.
Optional: Lightly swirl with a knife for a marbled effect. - Bake to Perfection
Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is set but still slightly gooey underneath.
Let it cool for 10 minutes (if you can wait!) before serving.
