Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ lb sirloin steak, sliced
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning and cook for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the shrimp: In the same skillet, melt butter, add shrimp, and season with remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Make the Alfredo sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add garlic, and cook for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Toss pasta in sauce and add shrimp and steak. Garnish with parsley and serve hot!
