Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought, thawed)
2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
A pinch of salt
Optional Glaze (for drizzling):
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk (or cream)
A drop of vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat Oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Filling:
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Stir in melted butter and vanilla (if using).
Roll Out the Puff Pastry:
Lightly flour your surface.
Roll the puff pastry into a rectangle, about 1/8 inch thick.
Spread & Roll:
Evenly spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the pastry.
Roll the sheet tightly into a log, starting from the long edge.
Slice:
Cut the log into small rolls, about 1 inch thick.
Bake:
Place the rolls on the baking sheet.
Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Glaze (Optional):
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Drizzle over warm rolls.
Tips:
Add chopped nuts (like pecans or walnuts) inside for extra crunch.
For extra gooeyness, brush with extra butter and sprinkle a bit more sugar before baking.
